The retaining capacity of your filter unit is given by the size of silica sand grains, used in the filter.
Replace sand with Zelbrite filtration medium, which has several times greater surface area of grains and can capture finer particles. It also captures nitrates contained in the water. It will save you resources and improve the purity of water.

Unit measures pH level, redox, free chlorine (optional connection of total chlorine probe), monitors water level and temperature. Can have connected up to 3 peristaltic or membrane pumps, salt-water elektrolyser or chlorine gas doser. Aquasalt Complete automated water treatment unit controls filtration, heating, detects empty chemical containers and communicates with a PC. It can be supplemented by a flocculent doser. Station is suitable primarily for customers mindful of water quality and for public swimming pools.
