The retaining capacity of your filter unit is given by the size of silica sand grains, used in the filter. Replace sand with Zelbrite filtration medium, which has several times greater surface area of grains and can capture finer particles. It also captures nitrates contained in the water. It will save you resources and improve the purity of water.
Swimming pools with a skimmer develop over time unsightly "line" consisting of dirt, sunscreen, etc. It can be cleaned using various special products.
Use baby soap and hot water. This solution is cheap, efficient and hygienically safe. If anything remains in the pool, it will easily be captured by the filtration system.
If you do not have covered swimming pool or if you swim while the enclosure is open, the water surface is exposed to UV radiation. This radiation breaks apart free chlorine contained in water.
Disinfecting agents dose the night after the swimming. By the next morning the water will be clean and these substances evenly diluted.

In pools with skimmer filtration system nozzles are usually placed opposite the skimmer at the upper part of the pool. In terms of water hydraulics, this location is not optimal, since ideal mixing of chemicals with the entire volume of water cannot take place. Especially in the summer months, during high pool usage, the formation of algae in some areas the pool may occur, even while maintaining the correct dosage of chemicals.
Rotate the nozzle to the bottom of the pool at about 45 °. Impurities on the surface of the will take a little longer to get to the Skimmer, but the overall cleanness of the pool will improve.
